that depends on how these new cultures will be introduced though. yeah, from that angle, you might be right.
The environment won't remind you, but the people will. You're invading this place, you don't belong. I anticipate that with all the focus on the culture and lives of the tribes in this place that you arrived in after your tribe was defeated. that changes the atmosphere entirely, not the lack of firearms. it's the place the main character belongs to. in far cry primal, the environment IS undoubtedly hostile, but the player will never feel alienated, or even slightly out of place there. far cry 1 was an island with weird monsters, fc 2 was africa, fc 3 pirate controlled island, fc 4 himalayan civil war.
